Sitting on the 26th floor of the South Tower of the newly renovated Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino is the Club Lounge. An oasis for the exclusive clientele of the hotel, a place where VIP guests can access a wide range of services like breakfast, high tea, snacks, a dedicated reception and concierge, a conference room, business facilities, a reading area with stacked book shelves, a balcony overlooking the Nile with high views of the city, and more.
Who can access the Club Lounge? Guests of the Club rooms and suites on the 17th to the 25th floor of the South Tower, as well as Platinum members of the Starwood Preferred Guest Loyalty Program can access the Club Lounge. Upon arrival, guests are escorted to the Club Lounge and given a guided tour along with a printed card containing all the relevant information.
Décor: The spacious Club Lounge can accommodate large numbers, with diverse seating areas and arrangements. Think Mad Men meets the Nile. The orange and brown hues of the post-modern 60s and contemporary furniture design harks back to an era of style, smoking, and culture (minus the present ability to smoke indoors, of course). The Club Lounge affords a no-frills aura of sophistication and practicality, with a streamlined and crisp atmosphere. The staff is warm, professional, very helpful, and will flash you that signature Sheraton Cairo smile. An outdoor balcony provides high views of the city and a fresh air break.
Services: An exclusive desk for check-in and check-out, and concierge services are available to Club Lounge guests. There are 2 work stations, one with 3 computers linked to a printer, and one where guests can plug-in their laptops. A fax machine, copying and scanning services are also available. A conference room can be used for private business meetings, and Wi-Fi is available in the Club Lounge as well as complimentary high-speed Internet in the Club rooms and suites.
Cuisine: A Levantine cuisine with an international flair is on offer. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and includes a hi-tech coffee machine, induction chaffers, and an island presentation. Fresh seasonal juices, specialty coffees and teas, along with healthy and organic food specialties complement the traditional and creative breakfast items. All-day snacks including cookies, fruits, along with soft drinks, hot beverages, and juices are available from 10:30 am to 11:00 pm.
Throughout the day, appetizing nibbles and self-serve refreshment fridges are available. A High Tea and snacks buffet is available from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In the evening during Happy Hour, the island presentation exhibits healthy culinary delights and the adjacent long counter displays hot and cold items as well as a selection of beverages and complimentary local beer and wine.
