It may be nestled in small space, but O’Mama Burger House is big on delivering. Similar to the busy Zamalek street on which it is located, the new dining spot is busy with burger lovers who are looking for a tasty on-the-go bite. We popped over on a Saturday afternoon to sample their menu.

Dishes Sampled

Embodying the phrase “less is more”, O’mama’s menu is small and concise. A beef and fried chicken burger is the base of the menu with different sauces and spices to play around with. We started off our meal with a generous bucket of tender chicken strips paired with four different sauces; BBQ, buffalo, honey mustard, and O’Mama special sauce.

The double beef burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with red cheddar cheese complimenting the juicy patty very well. The fried chicken burger came next paired with the same four sauce combination. The batter was deliciously seasoned and the chicken was tender. We enjoyed the offering paired with the spicy buffalo sauce the most and could have devoured 10 more of those! Next we sampled the O’Baby slider; a mini pulled beef slider paired with a delicious coleslaw salad and massive amounts of BBQ sauce. Due to the packed restaurant, the slider arrived a bit cold unfortunately.

All burgers are served with an order of crispy, well-seasoned fries. We washed down our meals with a creamy vanilla ice-cream milkshake – a perfect sweet end to our meal!

Other Menu Options that Appealed & Beverages Available

We’d like to return to sample the corn on the cob appetizer served with lemon butter sauce. Beverages available are soft drinks and milkshakes.

Décor and Ambience

A big comfy bench and a number of high stools, the small space is surprisingly accommodating to a big number of diners as well as people ordering to go.

Clientele mix: A lot of young adults who are looking to grab a quick bite with friends passed through the place.

Price range:  Prices are reasonable for burgers and sliders.
