Dishes Sampled
We arrived around noon just in time for a big brunch and started with the Authentic Breakfast. This consisted of two sunny side up eggs on a layer of sourdough bread accompanied by slices of turkey and beef bacon, mini portions of cream cheese, labneh, honey and jam along with a freshly baked plain croissant. All breakfast choices come served with a green salad on the side.
Next up we delved into a dish of creamy Polenta topped with two poached eggs, garnished with sautéed mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes, and sprinkled with chia seeds for a final nutritious touch. The polenta was a pleasant surprise, tasty and loaded with flavor – highly recommend.
We were served one more breakfast dish, the Salmon Poach. Smoked salmon on a layer of sourdough bread topped with two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and capers. We enjoyed an Almond Croissant with a nice warm cup of coffee to wrap up our lovely brunch. We also sampled the Popcorn Latte, a signature Kimbo drink consisting of popcorn syrup, coffee and milk. A tad sweet, we were still amused by the taste of popcorn syrup.

Décor & Ambience
The restaurant is located on the second level of the mall, easily reached by a flight of escalators from the parking area (A3). Kimbo has two main areas, indoors facing the mall hall and outdoors overlooking the Food Hub patio.
Social Distancing and Hygiene Standards
The restaurant seems to have taken serious care of its hygiene and sanitation procedures. The menu has been digitalized and it is available through a QR barcode attached to the side corner of the tables. The staff is wearing masks and shields for extra protection. The tables have been spread out, giving guests a comfortable social distance space between other groups of people.

Price Range: Reasonably priced – good value for a meal
