Cosmopolitan Cuisine at Twin Towers in Sheikh Zayed

Signature dishes: All grilled meats: steaks, chicken, and sea food. Also available are combinations with a spicy twist, and pizzas with meaty toppings.
Dishes sampled:
To begin with we were served fresh bread with an accompanying dip made from fresh coriander and dill with spices in an oil and vinegar base. It was a good introduction for what was to follow.
Our beef fillet came with almond sauce and in generous portions. It was well-cooked, with a delicious sauce, and was accompanied by sweet corn and potato wedges. The salmon fillet came on a bed of penne pasta with a lemon cream sauce, served with garlic bread on the side. Satisfying and really tasty, the salmon was grilled nicely and the sauce was deceptively simple but with a delicious citrusy tang.
Chicken pizza: two mini pizzas on one plate with fries on the side! Carbohydrate heaven, but also the pizza was laden with tasty chicken pieces in a rich tomato sauce.
Yes, we actually managed to cram in three kinds of home-prepared mini- cheesecake, with caramel, berries and more. Calorie heaven!
Other menu options that appealed:
Mexican Combo: Vegetable spring rolls, classic nachos with melted cheese, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, red beans and jalapeno; Chicken spinach rolls: grilled chicken breast rolls stuffed with spinach, Mozzarella and mushrooms, covered with a spinach sauce.
Ambiance: Elegant casual: modern with contemporary chandeliers, atmospheric lighting and well-presented tables. On the evening we went, a sound track of mostly contemporary hits was playing.
Beverages available: Fresh juices, soft drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails, shakes, tea and coffee.
Top tip: Choose chairs rather than the bench seats, which are a little on the low side!
Home delivery: Will begin after three months.
Takeaway: Takeaway is available, and Capital Grill offers limited catering.
Clientele mix: Groups, friends, families, couples. Capital grill has a relaxed ‘drop-in’ vibe but at the same time something of the sophistication of a high-end dining experience.
