Ingredients:
• 100 g veal fillet
• 50 g tuna, canned
• 25 g mayonnaise
• 10 g imported capers
• Red pepper powder
• Cherry tomatoes for decoration
Preparation:
Season the veal with salt and pepper, and the tuna with mayonnaise in a separate bowl.
Lightly cook the veal on a grill top for less than four minutes, take the veal off the grill when it’s still not fully cooked. Pre-heat oven to 160o C, place the veal inside the oven for a period of 12 minutes, take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
After the veal has cooled down, cut it into very thin slices, preferably on a slicer machine, use the blended tuna with mayonnaise to spread it on top of the thin slices of veal to cover it completely. Garnish with capers and cherry tomatoes and some

Ingredients: 800 g carrot, sliced
90 g onion, sliced
80 g leek, sliced
60 g celery, chopped
100 g ginger, mashed
5 g heavy cream
2.5 litre water
Vegetable stock cube
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation: Sauté onion in butter then add the rest of the ingredients except for the cream. Once vegetables are tender, let cool then mix in the blender. Return to pot, add cream, salt and pepper to taste.

Ingredients:
150 g white flour
300 g whole wheat flour
7 g salt
20 g molasses
15 g lemon juice
15 g yeast
250 g water
Preparation:
Mix all dry ingredients, white flour, whole wheat flour, salt and yeast. Make sure that the yeast is followed by the salt.
Add the molasses, lemon juice and water to mixture. Knead for 15 minutes to develop dough.
Let it rest until doubled in size. Punch dough to release air.
Portion dough into two loaves of 400g each. Let it prove until it doubles in size.
Bake in a pre-heated 200 degree Celsius oven. Bake bread for 20 to 25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 92 degrees.

TBS Kitchen is already famous for its artisanal bakery and desserts, with everything from Ciabatta bread, Focaccia bread, Croissant, Pain au Chocolat Pâte, Muffins, Tarts, and their latest, Croffin – a cross between a croissant and a muffin. With the transition to all-day dining, items to definitely try are Salmon Pasta, Wasabi Burger and Truffle Sourdough Pizza.
We started with a latté and a Brownies Coffee Frappé, the coffee is very rich and aromatic. A breadbasket is served with slices of Focaccia, brown bread, white bread and butter, baked in-house every day.
We ordered the Truffle White Pie Sourdough Bread Pizza, it came on a wooden pizza platter and was thin and crunchy on the edges, topped with melted Parmesan cream, mozzarella cheese, thin roasted onion wedges, fresh arugula leaves, sunny side up fried eggs and truffle oil.
After that, we devoured Salted Caramel Pancakes, which came with sautéed banana, and salted caramel sauce. A triple stack of soft fluffy buttermilk pancakes with blueberries and blueberry sauce with a side of maple syrup.

Desserts and items from the bakery section are definitely on our wish list for next time, as well as the inviting salads, pasta dishes and tartines.
Beverage options include healthy smoothies, milkshakes, fresh juices, iced tea, soft drinks, tea, and hot and cold coffees and frappés.
Hot tip: The coffee is a must try!
Décor & Ambience
The décor is fresh, light wooden furniture, modern, basic, clean and simple, whites and light beiges, cozy and easy on the eye. Our favorite feature was the two wooden swings that hang in the entrance. The music choice is a mixture of 60s and 70s songs that take you back in time.
On weekends, TBS Kitchen has an impulse corner, where you can buy from a different selection of breads, jams, dressings, cookies, dips, and energy bars not offered on the menu.
Clientele mix: The place is airy, spacious, and conducive to getting some work done. A few patrons were working on their laptops; there were also small gatherings of friends as well as some in suits grabbing a bite before heading back upstairs to their respective offices at Capital Business Park.

The menu is perfectly curated offering a balance between savory and sweet. The specialties section of the menu features Breakfast Burritos, Oven Apple Pancakes, Stacked Hash Browns, and Huevos Rancheros.
Heading into Angie’s Place for a late brunch we were excited about the all-day breakfast and jumped right in, starting with the Stacked Hash Browns, the Oven Baked Apple Pancakes and Cheesecake French Toast. We were excited to experience a new take on classic American breakfast foods. The Stacked Hash Browns came with sausage, beef bacon, fried egg, cheese and green onions topped with an aioli sauce. The Apple Pancakes were a sweet-treat topped with caramelized apples and ice cream. The icing on the cake was the Cheesecake French Toast; two pieces of French toast smothered in cream cheese and fresh strawberries. All three breakfast dishes were fantastic and came in portions large enough to share but were so good that we really didn’t want to.
We then sampled the Creamy Mushroom Dip, Angie’s Harvest Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, and the Breaded Chicken Roll. The Mushroom Dip came with large crouton wedges and topped with cheese, making it a tasty but not too heavy choice and the Macaroni and Cheese was a lighter version of the classic comfort food. The signature Harvest Salad was fresh and tasty with nuts, blue cheese, and green apples for those looking for a healthier alternative. The Breaded Chicken Roll was flavorful but light, with a side of quinoa, chickpeas, and carrots. Overall, every dish we tried was delicious and exceeded all expectations.

On a second visit, we would try the Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, and the Banana and Salted Caramel Crêpe.
