A New Concept by Bordeaux – Now in Kattameya Heights
Lush design house opened its showroom last March at the Kattameya Heights Business Center.
The company was established by Engineer Farida Ezz El Din over 16 years ago, under the name Bordeaux Design. Ezz El Din has been importing distinct furniture items and home accents, from all over the world. A few years ago Ezz El Din’s daughter, artist Dina Hanafi joined the team as Business Development Manager. Together they have recently revamped the company to become manufacturers rather than importers. Lush Design House is now open, specializing in furniture design with impeccable quality.
Lush design department designs all products based on international trends and inspirations, while maintaining its’ own unique twist. All products are produced in Egypt, from furniture to lighting to pottery, following meticulous inspection and quality control methods.
Hanafi is also a painter, and her sensational paintings are displayed at Lush showroom. She creates customized artwork fitting clients’ color schemes, styles and area-specific dimensions.
Currently Lush is planning on exhibiting its’ products at international furniture fairs abroad. “We believe that it is a duty for anyone producing good quality products that are made in Egypt to market themselves abroad and to attempt to export their goods,” says Hanafi, “we would also like to expand the company locally in the near future,” she continues.
