1. “AlRawabi School for Girls”
Being in an all-girls school is no easy thing! Mariam, the protagonist of the series, is the biggest proof of that. The series follows a group of girls where the bullied outcasts decide to become the Bullies and take revenge. Arabic Movies and Series on Netflix
2. “Hekayat Banat”
Who of us did not grow up watching the life of those four best friends? Netflix decided to hit us with some nostalgia with the first season of the series so make sure to grab your popcorn before hitting play.
3. “I Want to Get Married”
With every new episode comes a new husband candidate that’s followed by unstoppable tears of laughter. Ola, played by Hend Sabry, perfectly portrays the struggle of an Egyptian girl who’s dying to get her happily ever after in a hilarious way.
4. “Paranormal”
Based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik’s best-selling supernatural book series “Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa”, Dr. Refaat Ismail, the lead character, faces a “paranormal” adventure every episode. 5. “Secrets of the Nile”
Secrets of the Nile is definitely one of Ramadan’s classic series. While going to the Grand Hotel to visit his sister, things did not go as planned as Ali finds out his sister is missing. Deciding to investigate her disappearance, he works at the hotel and falls in love. Secrets of the hotel that were buried a long time ago begin to unravel.
6. “The Blue Elephant 2”
In the sequel to the first movie “The Blue Elephant” that blew everyone’s mind, Dr. Yehia is now married to Lobna and is called back at the psychiatric hospital. After finding out from one of the patients that his family’s death is only three days away, the blue elephant pills make a comeback as he takes them trying to solve the riddle he’s facing.
7. “The Treasure”
Played by a huge cast of all of our favorite actors, “The Treasure” offers a plot where Egypt is framed by a hunt for a lost treasure in three-time eras the Pharaonic, Abbasid and the Kingdom era. Arabic Movies and Series on Netflix
8. “The Guest”
After getting six awards from both International and Arabic film festivals, “The Guest” was added to Netflix just recently. When Farida decides to invite a guest for a quiet family dinner the night takes on a turn no one expected and suddenly a tense debate takes place.
9. “Teer Enta”
With Ahmed Mekky, you’re guaranteed to have a good laugh. “Teer Enta” is not only a hilarious movie, but it also reflects the importance of being yourself. We get to see how with every attempt he tries to be someone he’s not in order to please others, he fails miserably.
10. “Bittersweet”
A classic that we’ll never get tired of! Ahmed Helmy made us all fall in love with Egypt even more with “Bittersweet” as Masry returns to Egypt after 20 years of living abroad, getting to see how much everything has changed in his hometown.
11. “Amir Al Behar”
We couldn’t ever leave Henedy out of this list! If you’re having one of those random Monday blues, make sure to watch “Amir Al Behar” to boost your mood.
