Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino invited a select group of media for an overnight stay to live the unforgettable Sheraton Go Beyond experience, enjoy the breathtaking sight of the newly reopened iconic hotel, and gear up for some uplifting downtime. Sheraton management, headed by Hans-Joerg Kreitner, General Manager, and Dina Naeem, Area Communication Director, took the media on a culinary odyssey rooted in the Sheraton’s legacy and gave them a unique opportunity to indulge in a day of iconic wonders with a customized itinerary.
The stay began with restorative beverages and pass-arounds at the pool to refresh the senses after a long working day and set the tone for a rejuvenating stay. The journalists were then invited to celebrate the ancient art of storytelling at El Rawi restaurant with a creative set menu. Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino’s Executive Chef, Jean François, offered culinary insights into the evening’s three-course menu, which featured undiscovered pairings and fusions of local ingredients and delectable regional Arabic cuisine like the inventive lobster and crab koshari.
After the sumptuous dinner, guests enjoyed signature cocktails and live entertainment by violinist Azmi and the resident DJ of Studio 70, the vintage bar inspired by the iconic era. After dancing the night away, it was time to enjoy the Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience.
The following day started with an energizing aerobic workout at the Sheraton Fitness Center before the journalists enjoyed an exclusive breakfast at Sheraton’s Club Lounge with unrivaled views of the River Nile from the 26th floor.
After breakfast, the media took part in a guided tour to experience the revitalized elegance and modern interiors of the hotel. In the afternoon, the media embarked on another memorable culinary voyage with a live cooking experience with Chef Antonio Carrano at Giannini’s New York Italian Restaurant, the first restaurant of its kind in the heart of Cairo.
