Concept: ‘Crown your senses!’ This café/restaurant has been created for a great night out, providing not only food but also laid-back entertainment, shisha and a general feel-good experience. What does the name mean? It derives from a famous castle in the middle of Lake Maggiore in northern Italy.

Favorites: Pizzas, pastas and mains such as steak and chicken dishes. However the kitchen is still experimenting with other Egyptian café favorites such as Lebanese antipasti dishes and a few random additions such as Mexican nachos. Since Cannero opens early (at 10 am) there is also a handy breakfast menu for those out and about at that time.

Ambiance: Cannero looks like the new great place for a relaxed night out with friends. TV screens showing sports matches and music videos; table games such as tawala and chess, and shisha both indoors and outside on the extensive patio in the Twin Towers courtyard. Cannero has a young, vibrant atmosphere and is already attracting a local crowd.
