How you do your makeup should differ from one person to another. It depends on the color of your skin, the shape of your face, your skin type and of course style and preference.

Here are a few tips we think could be useful to anyone who applies makeup daily.

Mask Imperfections

Try color correcting: green neutralizes inflammations; peach and pink brighten up dull skin; yellow masks vascular spots or small scars; orange helps mask dark circles under your eyes.

Get Rid of Dark Circles

To get rid of those dark circles, you can try applying wet tea bags under your eyes. Or mask it with a concealer. To make it even, apply the concealer not in a half-circle but in an inverted triangle shape.

Help Your Skin

Heavy makeup and foundation really damages your skin and leaves it looking cakey and wrinkled. Use light mousses and transparent face powders and apply them through a tissue. The powder layer will be as light as if you aren’t wearing any at all. Do the same with lipstick for more defined lines and less smears.

Contour the Right Areas

Utilize Your Nude Liner and Matte Highlight

Brows On Fleek

Follow 3 main rules: don’t make them too square, blend your brow pencil properly, and don’t make your arches too long for perfect brows.

Stamp Your Lashes

Make your lashes look fuller and add depth to your eyes by gently pressing your mascara against the underside of your lashes. This gives the eyeliner effect but more naturally.

Choose and Apply Your Blush Wisely

Powder works great with larger pores, creams offer a dewy finish and last longer, gels are great for a nice healthy glow but don’t typically last long, whereas stains are perfect for those who tend to sweat a lot.makeup tips

When applying blush, use your bone structure as a guide for the most flattering look. For example, oval face shapes should start with the cheekbones, sweeping lightly up the temples.

Remove a Mascara Smudge Without Wiping All Your Makeup

Nothing is more frustrating than getting a mascara smudge right after finishing your makeup. Don’t just wipe it with your finger or take it all off and start over. Dip a small brush or a cotton swab in micellar water to remove the smudge without ruining the rest.
